Roblox’s new generative AI avatar tool, dubbed Avatar Auto Setup, also offers high levels of customization, but takes more time for the AI to generate because it’s a more complex task.

Roblox says this process normally takes hours or days for an artist to complete. With Texture Generator, Roblox is enabling creators to do the same thing within 15 to 30 seconds.

Like other UGC assets, users will be able to purchase bodies and heads through either the Roblox Marketplace or within experiences. Creators will receive 30% of the proceeds in both cases.
