Standing between seven and 15cm tall, snowdrops have white bell-shaped flowers and two to three leaves on each stem. Inner and outer petals feature distinctive green and yellow markings.

Snowdrop flowers bloom on Monday along South Ohio Avenue. The flowers are famous for blooming early in the season often when snow is still on the ground.
