I am in the market for a new LCD monitor for my ... to them and they all had a native resolution of 1920 x 1080. <BR><BR>Is this the proper resolution for a 21.5" screen or something?

Don't tell your HDTV this, but Sharp, along with NHK (a Japanese broadcaster) developed an 85-inch LCD TV that's the first direct-view display to support a native 7680x4320 resolution (33-megapixels).
