Woods has backed out of the Genesis Invitational this weekend while he mourns the loss of his mother, Kultida Woods.

The $20 million signature event will take place at Torrey Pines in San Diego, a course that Woods has won at eight times in his career.

Tiger Woods took to social media to announce that his mother, Kultida Woods, had died and to share a heartfelt tribute.
