McIlroy joined golf's exclusive list becoming just the second man in the last half century to win all four major championships

Rory McIlroy made history on Sunday, becoming just the sixth golfer to achieve the career grand slam after finally taking home the green jacket at the Masters. McIlroy now joins PGA Tour legends Gene Sarazen, Ben Hogan, Gary Player, Jack Nicklaus and Tiger Woods as the only golfers in history to achieve that milestone.

McIlroy won the 2025 Masters after a number of ups and downs. The 35-year-old made four double-bogeys throughout the weekend, including two on Sunday that erased what was at its height a seven-shot lead and set up a sudden-death playoff with Justin Rose.
