University of Chicago officials said Wednesday that visa terminations of three students and four recent graduates were found during an audit. University of Illinois and Northwestern students also reportedly had visas revoked.

Over the past week, nearly 300 full-time international students across the country were informed that their visa status had been revoked.

The federal government has revoked the visas of some international students studying at universities across Illinois, but college administrators are sharing few details, including how many students
