A Fort Wainwright soldier faces federal charges for allegedly producing and possessing child pornography.

Trial dates have been set for one of two people charged following a police pursuit in central Alberta last fall.

Jeff Edward Medd, 41, of Leduc County, was sentenced to 910 days behind bars in Wetaskiwn Court of Justice on March 13, 2025.
