LAREDO, Tex. (KGNS) - The Society of Martha Washington (SMW) held its Costume Unveiling on Saturday, Feb. 8, at 3 p.m. The event took place at the home of Dr. Michael and Mrs. Patsy Galo.

Paul Tazewell made history at the Oscars, becoming the first Black man to win best costume design. Tazewell won for his masterful design work in “Wicked” at the 97th Academy Awards on Sunday.
