‘Major medical emergency’ closes two East Bay BART stations
OAKLAND – Two East Bay BART stations were back open Thursday morning following a “major medical emergency” created when a train fatally hit a person, officials said. The emergency happened just before 9 p.m. at the Fruitvale BART station, BART spokesperson Anna Duckworth said in a recorded message.
