After detaining Rümeysa Öztürk at ICE’s field office in St. Albans the night of March 25, court filings show, ICE officials placed her on a flight out of the airport in Burlington.

Rümeysa Öztürk, a Tufts University graduate student, was arrested in Massachusetts and sent to the South Louisiana ICE processing center in the swamplands of Evangeline parish in Basile.
