But the conference standings feel more wide open than ever after Arizona and Colorado pulled off massive road upsets. Chaos and parity have defined the conference so far this season. That seems unlikely to change.

With no team truly standing out above the rest, the new-look Big 12 appears more wide open than any other Power Four conference early this season. Houston, TCU and Cincinnati aren't exactly in the conference championship conversation, but middle-tier teams such as UCF, Arizona and even Colorado could sneak into the Big 12 title game.
