Former Duke basketball coach Mike Krzyzewski, who led Team USA for 11 years, will be inducted into the FIBA Hall of Fame.

South Carolina women's basketball coach Dawn Staley will receive another honor to her collection of accomplishments.

DURHAM, N.C. — Former Duke University basketball coach Mike Krzyzewski has been selected to be inducted into the FIBA Hall of Fame. Krzyzewski, nicknamed by many as ‘Coach K’, led Duke to 13 NCAA Final Four appearances and five national championships.

At Old Dominion, Ticha Penicheiro led the Lady Monarchs to the 1997 NCAA championship game. Over her career, she scored 1,304 points.

Penicheiro, an Associated Press All-American in 1997 and ’98 who led ODU to second place in the NCAA Tournament in ’97, was a two-time CAA Player of the Year and CAA Rookie of the
