Massachusetts Gov. Maura Healey on Tuesday announced that five of bankrupt Steward Health Care’s hospitals have been transitioned to new operators, marking a “new chapter for health care” in the Bay State.

Monday is set to be the last day Steward Health Care operates hospitals in Massachusetts. WBUR's Morning Edition host Tiziana Dearing speaks with reporter Deborah Becker on the Steward hearing over the weekend and where the deals stand.

A representative of Steward warned that it was "critical" to allow the sales to close because the buyers could potentially walk away from their offers.
