The Cincinnati Bengals have some work to do this offseason. After an abysmal 9-8 season that saw quarterback Joe Burrow put up MVP-like numbers while the rest of the team struggled, Cincinnati will hope to make some upgrades to the roster this offseason.
Longtime Bears assistant coach and defensive coordinator Sean Desai will join the Bengals in a senior assistant role, NFL Network reported. Desai, 41, was with the Rams in a similar role last season.
"There isn’t a much easier team to draft for than the Bengals. Pick whatever part of the defense you want to upgrade, and you’re right," Roberts wrote. "Grant brings a massive body at 342 pounds and that size and impact should make everyone around him better."
The Cincinnati Bengals have several contract situations to work out this offseason, but one NFL analyst believes the team will ultimately trade one of its stars instead of re-upping with him.
