Rolling Stones guitarist Keith Richards was presented with the inaugural Connecticut Governor's Award of Excellence by Gov. Ned Lamont at a library.
Invited guests on hand to witness Richards receive the honor included Today show anchor Craig Melvin, former CNN commentator Alisyn Camerota, Psychedelic Furs singer Richard Butler and noted record producer Rob Fraboni, who has worked with the Stones, Bob Dylan and others.
Today' show's Craig Melvin, rocker Richard Butler and Bridgeport mayor Joe Ganim were among the notable figures in attendance at Keith Richards' ceremony.
