Los Angeles Lakers rookie Bronny James has been back and forth between the South Bay Lakers (the G League team) and the NBA level. On Friday, the Lakers announced that James was being sent to South Bay, and he got to play on Friday night as they took on the Rip City Remix in LA.

As Los Angeles Lakers' guard Austin Reaves grabbed an offensive rebound, LeBron James dashed toward the rim. Before you could blink, James caught a lob from Reaves and dunked all over Washington Wizards' big man Jonas Valančiūnas.

Playing in his first G League game since Dec. 21, Bronny James scored a career-high 31 points to lead the  South Bay Lakers past the Rip City Remix 122-110.

So far in the G League regular season, the South Bay Lakers have struggled. On Friday, they returned home after a three-game road trip and looked to improve their 1-7 record, which was the worst in the Western Conference coming into Friday, against the Rip City Remix.
