Ella Toone scored a brilliant hat-trick as Man United grabbed a historic win over City in Sunday's marquee WSL clash, a game that also showed Khiara Keating at her worst.

Although goalkeeper Khiara Kheating endured a horrific derby, Gareth Taylor pointed out that the players in front of her didn’t do their job. United’s goals came from forced errors and they hurtled into a three-goal lead within 36 minutes.

In last season’s WSL, Man City did the double over Man United, winning at both the Etihad and Old Trafford. The situation was different this year though, as United had the chance to leapfrog City
