The fire was reported around 1:45 p.m. along I-40 westbound near mile marker 269 and the overpass for Sunrise Road.
A Nov. 1 fire damaged the span nicknamed the Big Mac bridge for its yellow arches — the easternmost of five bridges that carry vehicle traffic over the Ohio River near downtown Cincinnati.
