The injunctions prohibit Henyard from making appointments without board approval, while the restraining order prohibits any of her appointees from taking office.

A Cook County judge has sided with village trustees in Dolton and has ordered that the mayor not make appointments without approval by the trustees. The outcome means three recent appointments by Mayor Tiffany Henyard are blocked.
