After a day of snow and rain across northwest Oregon and southwest Washington on Wednesday, Thursday morning’s road conditions have some school districts delaying the start of classes as much as three hours. Other schools will put buses on snow routes including some in Hillsboro and Banks.

Some small school districts have canceled classes Wednesday. Many districts have announced two- or three-hour delays.

Schools outside the metro area are more likely to see accumulating snow as precipitation will be showery much of Wednesday. The later starting schools include Mt. Hood Community College and Banks. School districts in the Coast Range will also start later Wednesday.
