As the theatrical and sing-along versions of Wicked are now streaming, I revisited the 2024 phenomenon for the first time since seeing it in theaters.

From a sing-along edition to the making-of documentary, Peacock has rolled out the yellow brick road for the streaming of Wicked.

Released in theaters ahead of Thanksgiving 2024, “Wicked” grossed over $700 million worldwide, and after a VOD release to ring in the new year, the movie musical is now part of NBC’s streamer, Peacock.
