The NBA playoff picture came into full focus Friday night with the final two games of the play-in tournament. The Miami Heat and Memphis Grizzlies were victorious to grab the final two slots in the playoff field.

The Miami Heat became the first No. 10 seed to advance to the playoffs from the play-in tournament since it became official for each conference's No. 7 through No. 10 seeds for the 2021 playoffs.

Miami defeated the Bulls 109-90 in Wednesday's Eastern Conference play-in tournament game, which ended Chicago's season. It also means the Heat are one win away from clinching the No. 8 seed in the East and will face the Atlanta Hawks on Friday.
