The U.S. Postal Service has unveiled a new Black Heritage Series Forever Stamp honoring legendary New Orleans musician Allen Toussaint (1938-2015), a visionary whose work in jazz, R&B, funk, and soul helped define the city's rich musical landscape.

The U.S. Postal Service today celebrated the iconic New Orleans musician Allen Toussaint (1938-2015) as the 48th honoree in the Black Heritage stamp series. As a virtuoso pianist, singer, songwriter,
