A Waterbury man has been arrested following an armed robbery at a Wells Fargo Bank on Friday morning. Police responded to the bank, located at 800 Wolcott Street, around 10 a.m. after receiving reports of the robbery.

Christopher Porter, 53, robbed two Chicago banks and one in Evergreen Park between November 2020 and February 2021, stealing more than $11,300, prosecutors said. In all of them, he pointed a gun at tellers and customers.
