The College of Saint Rose Board of Trustees Chair Jeffrey D. Stone issued a statement thanking the bidders and saying he was glad the land authority won because it would protect the neighborhood.

ALBANY — An Albany County legislative committee approved a $6 million transfer to the Pine Hills Land Authority as “seed money” to operate the former College of Saint Rose campus.

On March 10, the county legislature approved $6 million for the Pine Hills Land Authority to maintain campus security and infrastructure as revitalization plans unfold.
