New study of nearly 2,000 former NFL players found that 34 percent think they have CTE, a condition it is not yet possible to confirm in a living person. Former players who believed they had CTE reported significantly more cognitive problems, depression, suicidality, chronic pain, and other problems than those who did not have concerns.
