KYIV (Reuters) -Two children were among 11 people killed when a Russian missile hit a residential building in Ukraine's northeastern city of Sumy, Ukrainian officials said, while another missile strike left the region's administrative centre without power.

On the evening of Nov. 17, a Russian ballistic missile hit Sumy, killing eight people and injuring at least 49, regional authorities reported.

In Sumy, 12 people were killed as a result of a Russian strike on November 17. Efforts to address the aftermath of the attack are ongoing, according to the Sumy regional military administration on Facebook.
