Two NASA astronauts, stranded at the International Space Station since June, could return to Earth weeks earlier than originally planned after SpaceX agreed to swap capsules for its upcoming flights.

NASA astronauts Suni Williams and Butch Wilmore completed a spacewalk Thursday while awaiting their delayed return to Earth. Williams set a new spacewalking record for female astronauts during the mission.

LOS ANGELES -- NASA and SpaceX are accelerating the target launch and return dates for the upcoming crew rotation missions to and from the International Space Station (ISS), which will bring the agency's stranded astronauts Suni Williams and Butch Wilmore back home.

Nasa announced that astronauts Butch Wilmore and Sunita Williams, stranded on the ISS, will return to Earth sooner than expected. SpaceX will adjust its schedule for a mid-March return. Originally set for June,
