The Philadelphia 76ers will do battle with the Miami Heat on Monday short-handed as Tyrese Maxey remains sidelined with a right hamstring strain. As for Joel Embiid, the big fella was initially listed as doubtful due to an illness and missed shootaround on Monday morning.

Embiid, who has played in only two games this season, was expected to play in the “ballpark” of 33 minutes against Miami but was added to the injury report.
