Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen was impressed with the way the New England Patriots played in Sunday’s AFC East divisional matchup. Despite entering as double-digit favorites, the Bills barely eked out a 24-21 win over the struggling Patriots at Orchard Park. It was a surprising turn of events for a game most expected to end in a blowout.

Given his MVP-candidate status, or simply being one of the best quarterbacks in the league, Josh Allen didn’t have a great game by his standards. It wasn’t even a good game, as the Bills quarterback completed just 16 of 29 passes against the Patriots for 154 yards, with a touchdown and interception.

Josh Allen might have to return the Christmas present he got from his offensive linemen because it suggests he's the MVP.
