Saleh was spotted on the sideline during a recent practice in Green Bay. Then Packers head coach Matt LaFleur confirmed that Saleh, one of his close friends, will be helping out the team’s offense not defense. According to the Packers’ website, Saleh will at least be with Green Bay through Thursday of this week.

The New York Jets shocked the NFL world after Week 5 when they fired Robert Saleh as head coach of the team. Saleh was not given the entire season to see if the Jets would be competitive, and it was team owner Woody Johnson who decided to move on from the former head coach.

Saleh, who had been with the Jets since 2021, was replaced by defensive coordinator Jeff Ulbrich as interim head coach. The Jets have lost their first two games under Ulbrich, most recently falling, 37-15, to the Pittsburgh Steelers.
