(Red Oak) Montgomery County Deputies arrested 31-year-old Devon Briggs of Corning, Iowa, on Friday following an investigation into a single-vehicle accident on December 13, 2024, on Highway 34 near Highway 71. Authorities transported Briggs to the Montgomery County Jail and charged him with OWI 1st Offense.

ANKENY, Iowa — The Polk County Sheriff's Office was asking the public for help locating a missing man who was last seen in Ankeny Wednesday afternoon. 75-year-old Ned Adams had reportedly last been seen near his residence at the 9600 blk of NE Frisk Dr. in Ankeny, the sheriff's office said in a Facebook post around 6:30 p.m.
