Penne, located in Italy’s central region of Abruzzo, has been selling more one-euro homes since starting the program in 2022.

The properties currently up for grabs vary in size, with up to three floors and between 750 to 1,300 square feet. Some of the buildings even date back to medieval times.

The new operator of a “beloved” clubbing hotspot has revealed plans to reopen it and restore nightlife in the town.
