The Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport is preparing for a record-setting number of travelers this week as Super Bowl LIX at the Caesars Superdome draws near.

As previously mentioned, the main airport that wealthy Super Bowl travelers will utilize is called Lakefront Airport (NEW). The airport is located on the northeastern side of New Orleans, along the famous Lake Pontchartrain. The airport is currently owned by the Orleans Levee District and is operated by the Lakefront Management Authority.

Make-A-Wish Foundation volunteers greeted 19 families at the airport. They held signs to welcome each family, all set for a trip of a lifetime—a Super Bowl experience.
