A ski lift at Cannon Mountain was shut down on Wednesday following an issue with a bolt, prompting a rescue of 64 passengers.
Cannon Mountain, a state-run ski area in Franconia, said “a bolt affixed to the power take-off shaft” on a ski lift failed.
