"A broadcasting legend": A look back on the retirement of Mike Lange
Lange, who was 73 at the time he retired, started with the Penguins in the 1974-75 season. He left for a year, then returned in the 1976-77 season and had been with the team ever since. In 2001, Lange was honored with the Foster Hewitt Memorial Award from the Hockey Hall of Fame for his work as a broadcaster.
