The fire Friday night, in a residential neighborhood near Newark Liberty Airport, also left one man injured, the Essex County Prosecutor said.

A Plainfield man was sentenced to life in prison for the 2019 murder of another man in Newark. Marcus Harris was convicted late last year of shooting Dax Rowland multiple times following an argument.
