In this week’s Parma Police Blotter, a concerned resident called police after discovering not only did a male suspect enter the home without permission but he also removed a dog from inside.

Carlisle police said in a statement on Wednesday afternoon that the owner of the dog believed to have initiated the fatal attack on another dog on the Towle Field trails over the weekend has been located.

At around 2:20 p.m. Saturday, police received a report that a 6-year-old Maltese had been “severely bit” by another dog on Towle Field trails near Westford Street, police said.

The owner of a dog believed responsible in the fatal mauling of another dog on a trail in Carlisle, Massachusetts, last weekend has been identified, police said.
