A pedestrian died after they were hit by two cars in Santa Ana on Friday evening. It happened at around 6 p.m. between Clara Street and Sullivan Street, according to the Santa Ana Police Department. They say that the drivers of both cars remained at the scene to try and help the victim and cooperate with their investigation.

Santa Ana police officers responded to First Street, between Clara and Sullivan streets, where the pedestrian was struck by the vehicles, authorities say.

A 63-year-old man was struck by multiple vehicles and later pronounced deceased at a local hospital, according to SAPD. On January 3, 2025, at approximately 5:57 p.m., the Santa Ana Police Department received multiple calls regarding a traffic collision near 1st Street and Center Street.
