COLLEGE STATION, Texas (KBTX) - Texas A&M’s Saturday contest against Cal Poly has been moved to noon due to the threat of inclement weather, according to a release from the program. Sunday’s series finale is still slated for 1 p.m.

The weather has not been kind to the Texas A&M Aggies baseball team at the start of the season. The midweek game against McNeese State had to be canceled, and the start time for Game One against Cal Poly was moved due to adverse weather conditions.

When A&M’s players arrived at Blue Bell Park Friday morning, the idea was already placed in their head that the series opener could be a grind. With the atmosphere thick with cold air and the wind blowing in, bats could be chilled. Gripping the ball would also be difficult.
