If you’re an NBA general manager who wants to sign a superstar, it’s going to cost you. After the Dallas Mavericks sent franchise centerpiece Luka Doncic to Los Angeles late Saturday, questions started circulating almost immediately about whether the price the Lakers paid wasn’t high enough.

If there's any ill will from Anthony Davis over his trade from the Los Angeles Lakers to the Dallas Mavericks, he's not saying so in public. Davis addressed the blockbuster trade publicly on Monday for the first time since it was reported Saturday night that he was being dealt to the Mavericks in exchange for All-NBA guard Luka Dončić.
