The future of the beloved Philly traditions is uncertain now that the company is closing its Center City store.

News that the Center City Philadelphia Macy's is closing quickly spurred questions among residents across the region; what would happen to the Eagle statue in the Grand Court?

The company said it would shut down approximately 150 "underproductive" stores over a three-year period while investing in 350 continuing locations.
