Alyssa Healy has a recurrence of the foot injury she picked up in the T20 World Cup and misses the opening T20 game with England.

Australia retained the Women's Ashes with three matches to spare following their 57-run victory over England in the opening Twenty20 international in Sydney on Monday.

Australia beat England by 57 runs in the first T20 to take an 8-0 lead and retain the Women's Ashes at the earliest opportunity.

Australia chased down the target in 6.4 overs with opener Katy Pelle remaining unbeaten on 29 off 18 balls. In Kuching, rain played spoilsport with the match between Samoa and Nigeria abandoned without a single ball bowled.

Women have always been involved in the Ashes. After all, the small terracotta-coloured urn that is permanently held at Lord’s Cricket Ground in London was created by two women and one man in 1882.
