From balloons to floats to performers, here's what you need to know about the 98th edition of the Turkey Day tradition.

A familiar figure will once again patrol the skies of New York City this Thanksgiving. Spider-Man, one of the most popular characters to figure in the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade, will appear for the first time in a decade as a new balloon.

The float, titled Wondrous World of Wildlife, will make its debut in honor of the Bronx Zoo’s 125th anniversary, and will display representations of the zoo’s extraordinary animals and beloved exhibits in front of millions live in New York and millions more nationwide on Thursday, Nov. 28.

Max Westom and Micah Zwiefelhofer are students at Eau Claire North and Memorial High Schools and both perform in marching band. The two had never met before this week, but in November they will be heading together to New York City to march in the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade.
