Threads has already gotten more than 15 million signups this month, according to Adam Mosseri — Bluesky just hit that number for total users.

Data tracked on the Bluesky API by Bluesky developer Jaz shows an increase of approximately one million users in the past week alone. Bluesky's Chief Operating Officer, Rose Wang, told Variety that the majority of this new user base originates from the United States.

Actors, directors, musicians and journalists are among the millions that have joined up to Bluesky since the presidential election.
