United States, Russia and Ukraine continued talks in Saudi Arabia, as Putin continued to bomb Zelenskyy's people and Trump called the negotiations "great."

Here are some of the issues that Russia, the U.S. and Ukraine are discussing in talks aimed at paving the way for an end to the war in Ukraine:

"Rational discussions" and having good relationships with presidents Vladimir Putin of Russia and Volodymyr Zelenskiy of Ukraine are key to negotiating an end to the war, Trump told Clay Travis, the founder of sports website Outkick, during an interview on Air Force One.

The deal was limited, and it was not clear when or how it would start. The Kremlin also demanded some Western sanctions be lifted first.

Russia and Ukraine agreed to a maritime ceasefire to allow ships to transit the Black Sea. Russia dropped a similar agreement in 2023.

Britain urged Russia on Tuesday to agree to the "full, immediate and unconditional ceasefire" proposed by Ukraine after both countries reached a truce covering the Black Sea and energy strikes. Britain's foreign office said in a statement it was in close contact with the United States and Ukraine following the conclusion of talks in Riyadh.
