Meredith Vieira is mourning the loss of her husband.

Richard Cohen, a journalist who was married to former “The View” co-host Meredith Vieira for 38 years, has died after living with multiple sclerosis for decades, it was announced Tuesday on “Today.”

Meredith Vieira’s husband, Richard Cohen passed away, last month at age 76. He was a noted journalist and producer, popularly known for his stint on CBS News and CNN. Recently, during an episode of Vieira’s former show,
