Two commercial passenger planes bumped on the ground at Washington’s Ronald Reagan National Airport Thursday, according to several members of Congress who were onboard one of the aircraft.

A plane carrying at least a half-dozen U.S. House members was clipped by another aircraft on the ground at Ronald Reagan National Airport near Washington, D.C., on Thursday, officials said.

Both planes returned to their gates afterward. American Airlines said damage was limited to a winglet on each aircraft.
