Aug 2, 2015 · The gun comes with a .687 insert which tends to be a bit large for field paint right now, but that bore is still smaller than most gun's stock barrels. Out of the box the gun was experiencing quite a bit of drop off when the trigger was run up to about 11 bps, but increasing the dwell to 20 fixed that immediately.

May 18, 2013 · Whether it be an ultralight shocker, specific color scheme, design or special features you want to incorporate, other purpose (ie build a cheap shooter for a friend, loaner gun, extra spare parts laying around and want to build a gun for cheap, etc), all stock, or Private Label (PL) shocker... any reason to build a shocker is a good one ...

The gun gets a lot of compliments at the field, since many people outside of maryland have never seen one. The only weakness i can complain about are the SFT ball detents. I must shoot out 1 every two times i play. So if you get an SFT shocker of any type, shell out for the Kila detents.

A great marker. It's my first spool valve, but I've shot others so I can compare the Shocker to them. I must say, for $800 a BNIB Shocker or $1000 for a Geo 3.5, the Shocker wins. The gun is so balanced, light, and feels perfect in my hands. The shot quality is great along with all the other features the Shocker has.

I got a 2006 sft shocker because the gun i had before was a peice. The shocker i recieved was simply the best shooting gun ive ever owned. Ive never had a problem with it at all and it's incredibly easy to maintain. The outside has been worn so much that its black body has turned almost completely silver.

Since the major steps taken in 2009 for the new NXT Shocker from smart parts, the shocker in my opinion is the best bang for your buck. The new '09 shocker comes stock with a clamping feedneck and a tournament grade board which is where most of the complaints about Shockers used to stem from. With the new price drop to $500 It's hard to go wrong.

Quite possibly the best, and the worst gun i've ever owned. i purchased my '02 shocker sport in late '03 (nearly a decade of ownership at the time of writing), just after the release of the SFT (hence the $350 price tag) it came with the vertical-feed body, turbo-board, Delrin eclipse bolt head, and double trigger frame.
