Jan 25, 2022 · The Photo section is in fact a virtual album for pictures from your Files section, so you would need to find which folder in Files your mobile has uploaded the photos to, and then download them. But I digress, the CD in question appears well known to Windows Media Player (WMP) on my Windows 10 computer. When it plays the CD it has no problem finding/displaying the album art. However, when I rip it the resulting folder contains NO album art (i.e., NO .jpg files).

Jan 10, 2025 · I looked in the registry and there is nothing regarding totally disabling the artwork download (although this should be disabled with the options already set). I can set the Folder.jpg files as Read-Only and this prevents WMP from overwriting my 500x500px files, but I still don't want it creating the AlbumArtSmall files.

Jan 10, 2025 · That being said there is no way to put them on your desktop organized as an album. You would have to figure what folder they are in and put a shortcut of that on your desktop. Now if you want that capability may i suggest that in Photos go top right click the 3 dots and select Feedback and let Microsoft know. It is a great suggestion I think.
